Martin P Olsen
Martin started his career in rock mechanics with a Ph.D. from Yale University and post-doctoral research experience at Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory. He joined ARCO (which later became Phillips Alaska and then ConocoPhillips) as a geophysicist in 1997 and spent 8 years in Alaska, working development at Prudhoe Bay, New Fields Exploration, and finally Alpine Satellite Development.
In 2005, he left ConocoPhillips to join Aspect Energy (Denver, CO) and relocated to Budapest to work for its subsidiary, Hungarian Horizon Energy (HHE), where he was responsible for numerous gas discoveries. He relocated back to Denver in 2007, but remained attached to HHE as exploration manager. In 2012, he left Aspect to join San Leon Energy in Warsaw, Poland, as Exploration Manager.
He joined Sand Hill Petroleum BV in April of 2014 as Chief Geophysicist.
